The freshness of Vinho Verde… in a beach near you!

Freshness and lightness are characteristics of Vinho Verde that combine perfectly with the hot season. Like in previous years, the Vinho Verde Commission (CVRVV) returns to the Portuguese beaches for a Vinho Verde tasting. During the months of July and August, the Vinho Verde wine tastings will travel between several southern beaches in Portugal.

The Vinho Verde stands will be positioned right at the entrance of the most frequented beaches, from 12:00 am to 20:00 pm. The region of Lisbon was chosen to start with the wine tasting tour. On July 26, the stand of Vinho Verde will be at “Praia Grande” and in the following day at “Carcavelos” beach. “Costa da Caparica” will be able to taste the wines on July 28 and 29. After that Vinho Verde goes to Algarve:

31 July (Thursday) - Faro
1 August (Friday)- Vilamoura
2 August (Saturday) - Quarteira
3 August (Sunday) - Falésia
4 August (Monday) - Oura
5 August (Tuesday) - Albufeira
6 August (Wednesday) - Praia da Rocha
7 August (Thursday) - Praia da Luz
8 August (Friday) - Meia Praia , in Lagos.


Finally, in the region of Alentejo, the Vinho Verde will be at:

10 August (Sunday) - Vila Nova de Milfontes
11 August (Monday) - Porto Covo
